Process
Discover: To kickoff each project, the project manager emails over a detailed outline of scope, expectations, and the timeline. I thoroughly read through the notes and ask technical and/or clarifying questions I might have. For larger campaigns and blue sky ideation, I request any resources that the team thinks might be useful for inspiration.
Define: Being an outside designer from the organization, this define phase is important so that I can search through other asset examples within G2's past designs in order to match their styling as closely as I can. I never want to copy anything I've seen, I'm always using it for inspiration to create the next eye-catching asset for G2's marketing promotion.
Develop: Utilizing G2's Figma design library, I am able to tap into their fonts, colors, icons, and avatars. I lean into the messaging for the asset to determine the visual direction I drive for the design. Several of the projects I've worked on include showing off the G2 product and I recreate vector versions of the product screenshots I'm provided to create layered, engaging, and captivating product shots.
Deliver: For each project, I've consistently delivered assets for review at least 24 hours before the first draft due date. I comment and tag the Creative Director and Project Manager within Figma for review as well as send out an email communicating the project status. Then I make updates based on their feedback, and finally export the assets on time and organized in the brand team's asset library in Google Drive.

Conclusion
The G2 brand design team and my partnership is consistent, thriving, and working because of our communication and trust. I'm able to take a load off their team, utilize their existing branding, and create beautiful designs for the organization's promotional goals.
